Luiz Fernando Conte Vasconcellos
Luiz Fernando Vasconcellos is the main partner of TERCON. Chemical engineer, graduated in Business Administration, specialist in Finance at Fundação Getúlio Vargas. Vasconcellos has 35 years of experience in the Brazilian Capital Market and has worked with FIDCs since their inception in 2002 and has participated since 2001 in discussions with CVM (Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission) and Brazilian Central Bank authorities on the project that resulted in the Resolution 2907 of the Brazilian National Monetary Council and Instruction 356 from CVM.
It also worked on the structuring and offer of the first FIDC to be launched in Brazilian market — FIDC BMG Servidores Públicos — registered at CVM in December 2002 and opened to the investors in early 2003.
He acts in the origination of TERCON’s deals and the structuring of financial operations. He worked for 15 years at Unibanco, and left the bank as Director of Funds Administration. He was Director in other institutions: Bank Iochpe/Bankers, Bank ABC ROMA, Bank Crefisul, Investment Bank Sudameris, BNP Asset Management and BMG Asset Management.
At Iochpe, he managed one of the first foreign investment funds installed in Brazil, the “Brazilian Investment Company”. Also at Iochpe, he coordinated the debentures issues of Vale do Rio Doce, the only bank of its size to achieve such a position with Vale.
At ABC Roma he set up the Capital Markets department. The company was the main banking institution in this area among the new multiple banks founded in late 1980s.
When in Crefisul, he advised Citibank Argentina in the first IPO carried out by this institution in that country, Cadipsa SA – in 1991.
During his career in Sudameris, the volume of managed resources grew from 1.1 billion to 2.7 billion of dollars in two years.
He won the ABAMEC Award as Analyst of the Year in 1978. He was President of ABAMEC. He gave lectures on “Investments in Brazil” in London, New York, Buenos Aires and Santiago. From 1999 to 2001 he was Capital Markets teacher in postgraduate level at Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP, São Paulo).
Marcelo Alberto Couto
Naval Engineer graduated at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP) with specialization in Industrial Administration in the Carlos Alberto Vanzolini Foundation.
Couto has developed his career in the banking sector since 1991, first as Sales Manager and later in Business Management, with emphasis on the implementation and management of the Operational Support Area. This work included the analysis and development of products and banking operations, analysis and formalization of contracts, negotiation, customer service, foreign exchange, BNDES (operations and projects), corporate analysis, billing, guarantees, as well operations follow up and release. In 2010 he started to work in Administration, Custody and Settlement of Investment Funds and Clubs.
He worked at Lavra Bank / Lavra Corretora de Valores, at ABC-Roma Bank / ABC Brasil Bank worked in costs reduction, and later worked at BANCO PAULISTA / SOCOPA.
He has a strong leadership role in various multifunctional projects with the ability to motivate people and solve problems. Training experience in Uruguay.
Graduated in Economics at the Faculdade Metropolitana Unida de São Paulo (FMU), Diogenes Rocha is certified by BM&FBovesp as Derivatives and Stock Trader and currently is attending MBA in Tax Management and Fiscal Planning at FGV (Fundação Getúlio Vargas). Rocha began his career in 2006 in the Finance area of Fidelity BPO Brasil where he stayed for 2 years, and then began to work in the financial market, firstly in Intra CCTVM acting in the Treasury, Fixed Income Operations – CETIP, Margin Account, Public Securities and Debentures areas. With the acquisition of Intra CCTVM in 2008 by Citi Bank, it started to operate in Risk area of Citi CCTVM integrating all leverage and exposure operations of the brokerage firm.
In 2009, as controller, he joined the Gradual CCTVM structured products team, working in the Funds Administration area.
In 2011, he joined the Tercon team, developing the entire process of recruiting new FIDCs, elaborating feasibility studies and also working on the Macro Flow of FIDCs from structuring to liquidating operations.
In 2018 achieved ANBIMA CGA certification, also CEA and CPA-20.
Ângela Agostini Vasconcellos
Graduated in Physiotherapy from the University of São Paulo with a post-graduate degree in Business Administration from the CEG of FGV (Fundação Getúlio Vargas).
Developed her career in TERCON CONSULTORIA EMPRESARIAL which is partner since 2007, acting in three different areas.
At the administrative area, she is the general manager, taking care of all the internal aspects, such as corporate documentation, taxes, financial area and human resources.
At the funds area, she designs and creates Investment Funds models, mainly Receivables Investment Funds (FIDCs). She also works in the structuring of Real Estate Investment Funds (FII) and Investment Funds in Participations (FIP).
At clients relations area, she provides a complete assistance to the different types of funds, acting as an advisor on alterations of their legal and operational documents, and service providers contracts, including rating agencies, auditors and legal advisors, as well as and in public shares offers.
